The program includes an afternoon of jazz,
classical and contemporary saxophone music
presented by young artists/saxophone ensembles
from the Conservatory of Musical Arts, Rowan
University, and the University of the Arts. Ensemble
members include the finest high school age
students from CMA and respected University
students, alumni, and faculty from all three musical
institutions.


The Conservatory of Musical Arts (CMA), located at
Grace Church, is a family-owned community school
under the guidance and direction of Mr. Tony
Salicandro. Together with CMA’s 30 professional
and degreed faculty members whose mission, since
1984, has been to bring quality music education to
Haddonfield and the South Jersey area.  The
faculty includes some of the area’s most well-known
and respected teachers/performers. Tony
Salicandro (Saxophone, Flute, Clarinet) has
performed with such talent as Frank Sinatra, Tony
Bennett, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Ben
Vereen, Peter Nero and the Philly Pops to name a
few.  Chris Farr (Saxophone) has performed with Jill
Scott, The Roots, etc.  Matt Cappy (Trumpet) has
performed with Jay-Z, The Roots, Jill Scott, and
Earth, Wind, and Fire.
